Copyright reporting
Last updated: October 21, 2026
IDEAWA respects copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity and other intellectual-property rights. This policy explains how to report material on IDEAWA that allegedly infringes rights and how we review complaints.
1 What can be reported
You may report unauthorized photos, videos, artwork, posters, text, descriptions, copied reviews, logos, trademarks, identifiable likenesses, impersonation, or other material appearing in user profiles, collections, creator content, events, places, plans, comments, or messages, as appropriate.
2 Where to send a complaint
Email support@ideawa.com with the subject “Copyright / IP complaint” or use the in-app Report option for the relevant item. Identify the URL or in-app content reference and describe why you believe the material violates your rights.
An ordinary in-app report can be submitted without providing a formal legal notice. The information below is used when needed to assess a rights claim or satisfy an applicable formal notice procedure; it is not a condition for reporting threats, child-safety concerns, scams, or an unsafe AI response.
3 Information to include
Your legal name, organization (if applicable), contact email address, and your authority to act for the rights holder.
A description of the work or other protected right you own and, if available, a link to the original or authorized version.
The exact IDEAWA item, URL, account, or screenshots sufficient to locate the disputed material.
For a formal copyright notice, a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law, together with the facts supporting your complaint.
For a formal U.S. DMCA notice, a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed; your physical or electronic signature; and the contact details required by that procedure, including address, telephone number, and email. A general rights complaint does not require information beyond what is reasonably needed to assess it.
4 Review and action
We may request clarifying information, restrict or remove content, notify the posting user, suspend repeat infringers, or take other measures. We consider relevant exceptions and defenses, including licensed use and applicable legal exceptions, rather than treating every allegation as automatically proven.
We may share the relevant complaint and contact details with the person who posted the disputed material, advisers, service providers, or authorities as needed to assess the claim, provide a response, or comply with law. Omit information not needed for the complaint and tell us about a specific confidentiality concern.
5 Responding to an allegation
If your content was removed or restricted, you can respond via support@ideawa.com with the item identifier, your explanation and evidence that the content is authorized. If an applicable law provides a formal counter-notification procedure, we will explain the legally required information and process when appropriate.
6 Repeat infringement and false reports
Repeated infringement may lead to removal of publishing privileges or account suspension or termination. Knowingly false or materially misleading claims may have legal consequences; submit reports in good faith.
7 U.S. DMCA notices
Where the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act applies, notices and counter-notices are handled in accordance with applicable law. Publication of this page or provision of a general support address does not itself constitute registration of a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Any formal designation, if needed, must be separately completed and maintained.
